Colorado local ballot measures, November 3, 2026
93 city, county, school district, and special district measures in 64 jurisdictions across Colorado, with the amounts voters will see on the ballot. We will add every result after Election Day.
What stands out
- Teacher pay is on the ballot across the state. Denver, Jeffco, Douglas County, Littleton, Summit, Eagle, Roaring Fork, and other districts are asking for mill levy overrides, most aimed at staff pay.
- Fire districts are turning to sales taxes. West Metro, Arvada, Evergreen, and Estes Valley fire districts are asking for new sales taxes, a shift from the property-tax mill levies fire districts have traditionally used.
- Second homes and vacancies. Boulder’s 2J would tax homes occupied 183 days a year or less, Crested Butte would tax non-primary homes and vacant lots, and Mt. Crested Butte would double its short-term rental tax.
- The biggest asks. The Front Range Passenger Rail District’s 7A would raise $295 million a year for the Colorado Connector; Boulder’s 2K is a $400 million bond; Jeffco Public Schools is asking for $133 million a year across 5A and 5B.
- How counties govern. Boulder and Douglas County voters will decide whether to expand their boards of commissioners from three to five.
